This year, our school has set up a Smart Farm Lab in the Biology lab, allowing students to observe up close how plants can be grown using technology for remote monitoring and control, producing vegetables and herbs rich in nutritional value. The harvest will be used for business and charitable purposes, enabling students to learn and apply interdisciplinary knowledge from biology, technology, and economics, while giving back to the community and supporting disadvantaged groups. The project commenced in October, and the first training workshop was held on October 19, where 100 student planting ambassadors began learning hydroponic cultivation techniques to initiate hydroponic growing within the school.
